As an ISACA member, you belong to a community of professionals that share mutual goals, interests, and commitments. Becoming involved with your local chapter will allow you to make valuable connections with peers, share knowledge and discover new opportunities in your profession

ISACA has more than 200 chapters worldwide, all of which offer an opportunity to share a broad range of professional expertise from diverse business communities. Chapters sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, engage in IT research projects, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control, and security professional.

Membership in the association requires joining both the international association and a local chapter when residing or working within its territory. Select a chapter for additional information and to determine its territory.

Volunteer at your Greater Houston Chapter

ISACA members belong to a community of professionals that share mutual goals, interests, and commitments. Becoming involved with your local chapter will allow you to make valuable connections with peers, share knowledge and discover new opportunities in your profession.

Opportunities can range from one-time tasks or committee involvement to chapter board leadership roles, including serving as chapter president. Volunteer roles differ among chapters, so the first step is to contact your chapter and ask how you can get involved!

Benefits we provide to our members at Greater Houston Area:

Access to affordable CPE programs and information exchange through regular chapter meetings and events.

Expand your network of business contacts. With more than 200 chapters in over 85 countries, your membership will put you in contact with a local circle of peers with similar job responsibilities and concerns.

Chapter blogs and Job postings allow members to share advice on topics of professional interest, members can post job openings for their company and available to all local members to search for job.

Position yourself for management opportunities. ISACA allows members to practice leadership skills through its chapters and its International boards, committees and task forces. The ISACA-sponsored Leadership Conferences offer chapter leaders the opportunity to exchange best practices and develop leadership and management skills.

Local educational seminars and workshops, including review courses to assist you in studying for certification exams.
